Dan was in the Air Force and now is a software engineer for the government, specializing in web design, development, and graphics. Bonnie is a stay-at-home mom, focusing most of her time on homeschooling the girls.
We are members of a nondenominational, evangelical church. We have been married for 19 years and are the parents of two girls. You can meet 'Kitty' (her online name) here.
Bonnie started this site in January 2004 to share creative thoughts and works, and to encourage other Christian moms.
Bonnie earned a degree from Old Dominion University and has taken graduate classes in Public Administration. She worked in various jobs over the years: co-owning two pizza restaurants; worked as a counselor for teens with chemical dependency and abusive tendencies; edited a military paper under the base commander; and in a military hospital to evaluate child and spouse abuse. She also has many years of experience as a licensed daycare provider; as a Girl Scout leader; an AWANA leader; a Sunday School Teacher; and is her currently her homeschool co-op coordinator.
She and the girls have a passion for reading, writing, photography, gardening, and Bible study. Bonnie has written and illustrated one published book, 'Twas the Night before the Christ Came, and she and the girls are working on several others.
