~ OUR BELIEFS ~

1. We are confident that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God.

2. God our heavenly Father, is our Creator, infinitely perfect, and intimately acquainted with all our ways.

3. Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord. The way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) He is God who came in human flesh. He is the object of our worship and the subject of our praise.

4. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 )

5. We are all sinners. Before and after we our saved, we sin. We cannot be perfect and sinnless on earth.
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)

6. Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He can redeem and use even “the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:15)

7. God “is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

8. All scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

9. We are not under the law. Jesus fulfilled it and "the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." (Rom 8:2)

10. True believers are the “temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

11. The Holy Spirit is also God. He is at work convicting, convincing, and comforting.

12. Anyone who trusts in Jesus alone by faith is a new creation in Him --- fully loved and accepted by God.

13. Satan, under the sovereign permission of God, tempts and tries to beat down believers.
Drawing near to God is the only way to resist him.

14. Even though we are new creations in Christ, we continue to wrestle with our sin nature.
We will continue to grow in grace and become more like Jesus. Ultimate perfection and freedom from sin, however, will only come when we finally stand in the presence of the Lord.

15. Our salvation is secure.

16. We are to make Jesus known.

17. Jesus will return in power and glory.

18. Those who die will either be in everlasting communion with God or everlasting separation from God.

19. We have a great responsibility to love one another, as "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." (Joh 13:34)
